ELMAR FLÖTOTTO | Vintage German Pagholz & Chrom stackable chair from the 60s.
Manufactured by the traditional company Flötotto, the chair is lightweight, using state-of-the-art manufacturing processes. The backrest and seat are made of plywood (Pagholz). The thin material reduces weight, while the glued wood layers make the material extremely stable yet flexible. The seat has a recessed base, and the backrest is ergonomically shaped and cantilevered. The S-shape supports the back, providing a very comfortable sitting position, making it possible to sit for long periods without back pain. The base is made of bent tubular steel, also very lightweight, but very stable thanks to its curved shape. The highlight of this design is that the chair is stackable. Perfect for rooms that can be used for multiple purposes. Several chairs can be stored away to save space and are ready for use again just as quickly.
