Cantilever armchair in chrome-plated tubular steel, Italy, 1970s. The continuous curved frame with oval loop base is characteristic of Italian manufacturers of the period, standing in the tradition of the Bauhaus cantilever chairs by Mart Stam and Marcel Breuer — in the style of Gastone Rinaldi.
Seat and backrest newly upholstered in dark blue velvet. Frame in good, glossy condition, minor age-related wear to the chrome possible. Fitted with rubber floor protectors.
